Teaming - Overview
Teams don't exist in a vacuum. A team is a group of people who must rely on each other to get their work done (let's face it, teams exist to produce results). SGA works with newly formed and intact teams to develop the conditions required to create and sustain high performance, including:
A worthwhile purpose, one that makes people proud to be on the team.
Ensuring that the right people are on the team (and having the courage to get the wrong people off).
Defining the team's winnable game that drives SMART goals and effective processes.
Aligning team values to create and embrace operating norms.
Creating role clarity and clearly articulating the responsibilities.
Leveraging the strengths of the team, including: individual skills, interpersonal styles, and role preferences.
